Created in collaboration with Bill Evance Estate and the Netherlands producer and researcher Frank Jokemsen, the first Bill Evans excavation project launched in 2013 by Spanish producer, Jordy Soleay and Resonance Records.
This work is a collection of precious live sound sources left in the Netherlands in 1969 by Bill Evans (p), Eddie Gomez (b) and Marty Morell (ds) trio. Although it was in circulation in the unofficial pirate version, this release is the first legal album to negotiate official rights to the relatives.
The last 2 songs have been joined by the Metropole Orchestra in the same trio by the arrangement of Kraus Ogarman in the Varsam Studio, held in Hillfelsm on March 26, 1969, and the last two tunes were joined in the beautiful fantasy by Kraus Ogarman. Playback is included. recorded.
The co-producer of this work, Zev Feldman, is very glad that it can be officially released as part of Evan, Bill Evans Estate, Eddie Gometh, Marty Morrel, and more as part of Evans epic Recording Heritage. There is also a thrill to join the force again with my co-producer Frank Jokemsen. Frank Jokemsen was able to find the original open reel tape from radio stations in support of the elemental executive producer Carlos Agstin. "
Bernie Grandman was the master of the LP The original analog tape is very good and you can enjoy the immersive high sound quality.
The main liner notes are the famous Dutch Jazz Journalist Bert Vuijsje. Includes an interview with Jazz Pianist Jan Huydts, the essay of the excavation King Zeve Feldman, and precious testimonos by Eddie Gomez and Marty Morell. Includes a Japanese booklet that completely translates 12 page booklet with precious unpublished photos stored in their original LP.
